JBNU opened up the Seoul Office as the headquarters for innovation, seeking to lead regional development for the Glocal University 30 Project. On January 15th, the opening ceremony was held at the Seoul Office on the fifth floor of the Dabo Building, Mapo-gu, Seoul, promising fresh outlooks and innovations for JBNU. This office was opened in response to rapidly changing circumstances and to be an affiliate with central ministries. JBNU President Yang O-bong said, “Within the next ten years, I will help JBNU reach its potential and assist in the effective operation of the Seoul office, in order to be ranked in the top 10 universities domestically and in the top 100 universities globally.” According to Yang, this office will play a pivotal role in promoting JBNU, attracting outstanding freshmen, managing the employment of graduates, and expanding the development fund.
