Students can now formally appeal their grades through a newly established menu option on Oasis.

Since the second semester of the 2023 academic year, a formal menu for students to appeal their grades has been introduced on Oasis, the website of the academic management system. Kim Seok-hwan from the Office of Academic Affairs mentioned that previously, students had to directly contact instructors to inquire about grade appeals, which at times led to communication difficulties. With the introduction of this system, such inconveniences have been alleviated. He stated, "We created this system to facilitate communication between students and instructors. Students can conveniently raise grade-related concerns through Oasis, and instructors can promptly respond to them."

During the grade correction period, students can use the grade appeal menu option to submit reasons for seeking grade corrections for specific courses, which are then transmitted electronically to instructors. Upon receiving a notification of a grade appeal, instructors respond through Oasis and make any necessary grade adjustments. Student A, who has used this system, stated, "Previously, there were instances where instructors didn't even check my messages, making it difficult for me to inquire about my grades. There were times when they didn't respond even during the grade correction period, and I had questions about the grading process." He further expressed that the introduction of the new system has made it convenient as instructors are obligated to respond.
