JBNU is promoting sustainable overseas cultural exchanges with Quy Nhon in Vietnam. The officials from the JBNU Office of Student Affairs, including the director Rho Won yeop, visited Quy Nhon in Vietnam to discuss cultural exchanges between the two sides. Based on close cooperation with Quy Nhon, it has been decided to dispatch a cultural exchange team annually during the summer and winter vacations. JBNU agreed to immediately dispatch a cultural exchange team to Lê Quý Đôn High School in early January this upcoming year. At that time, various cultural performances such as K-pop, Taekwondo, Pungmul (Traditional Korean Farmers’ Music and Dance), and Korean costume experiences will be held. A cultural performance is also being planned by students from the clubs of the JBNU General Club Association together with citizens of Quy Nhon. Rho said, “I am happy to create an opportunity to become closer to Quy Nhon through Korean culture.”
