There is a professor group called “Tree Planters” at the JBNU Medical School. Since 2008, they have been actively raising funds to plant trees for future generations and making donations to medical school students. They recently donated approximately eighteen million won worth of lockers and chairs for the junior students. Professor Choi Ha-young, the president of “Tree Planters”, held a donation ceremony. This donation was made through the collaboration of professors from “Tree Planters” to raise funds to commemorate the construction of the fourth building of the Medical School. Choi said, “Medical school professors who want to make a small difference in the world by gathering their small efforts to make the world a little brighter have gathered their hearts to help our students.” He also commented that he hopes their students grow into outstanding individuals and pursue their studies.
