Lim Tae-gyu from the Department of Sport Science and Hwang Ha-yeon from the Department of Organic Materials and Fiber Engineering of JBNU won the Grand Prize at the "Univ Star Global Contest" with the idea for start-up. They came up with a platform where people can find exercise mates in real-time matching. JBNU started the contest this year to encourage start-ups of Korean and Vietnamese university students and select and foster excellent ideas. In the preliminary round of the contest, ten teams were selected and their ideas were embodied by educating and mentoring. Lim, Hwang, and other winners take part in student start-up club activities supported by JBNU Start-up Education Center. Hwang Jee-wook, a head of the Center, said "We will provide active support to students to lay the groundwork for global start-ups in our university's leap to Glocal University."
