JBNU will support 87 start-ups in the Honam region through a project for preliminary start-ups through the university that focuses on entrepreneurship support. This project is promoted by the MSS (Ministry of SMEs and Startups) to vitalize youth start-ups. The MSS selects nine universities to support local start-ups by utilizing a network that supports the infrastructure in the region. JBNU provides a specialized step-by-step program on the entire procedure this year. In Particular, besides this support program, JBNU has been selected as the beneficiary of all of the government’s start-up support projects. With the Ministry’s abundant support, JBNU is running a program in the Honam region that supports institutions to partner with local start-ups and offer them assistance. The head of JBNU Incunovation Start-up (JBNU Incubation+Innovation start-up) said, “through the step-by-step support of established businesses in the region, JBNU will help the growth of youth start-ups and outstanding local companies.”
