The orientation for international students, which had been held online due to COVID-19, was held face-to-face on August 31st of this year. Newly enrolled, graduated, and returning students who could not enter Korea because of COVID-19 attended the orientation to share information about their university life. During the orientation, information was given on academic affairs management, university life, and international student support programs. In particular, JBNU received a great response by educating international students about Korea’s basic laws and laws often applied in daily situations. The orientation was held through an early adaptation program linked to the Korea Immigration Service of the Ministry of Justice. Ahn Mun-suk, the Vice President of OIA(Office of International affairs) said, “JBNU will actively support all international students to have a safe university life through various support programs.”
