What activities are there in Jeonju and at JBNU? JBNU Globe reporters looked into interviewed about the PRIDECO.

PRIDECO is an environmental protection movement group that started with JBNU students - This name is a combination of ‘Pride’ and ‘Eco,’ which means to take pride in living in an environmentally friendly way.

All group members are aiming to reduce the use of disposable products, raise awareness about eco-friendly alternatives, and increase the amount of vegetarian food options. They have held campaigns to eradicate plastic straws in cafes near JBNU and replace rice straws, promoted ‛Zero Waste Day’ video relays, launched waste sorting awareness campaigns, and showcased COVID-19 online trash exhibitions.

Individuals want to be wings of butterflies by having a good influence on individuals. As a solid environmental protection organization based in Jeonju, PRIDECO will continue to act until the 'environmental problem' does not become a 'problem' in the long term.
