CBNU’s proud alumnus Suh Cheol-won, who graduated in the Department of Korean Language and Literature, won the grand prize in the 2013 Korean Story Contest. On December 11th, he was given an award of fifty million won by the Korea Creative Content Agency (KCCA). Among 1,298 entries, he won the prize with the story titled ‘Portrait of King’. It is about the early Chosun Dynasty, when the King was the Only Power. He said, “My story is only a little part of undisclosed history. But this little story has been great inspiration to me to write an amazing fiction, and I will do my best to keep up my work.” His story will be published in a book soon.
