CBNU has been expanding its international cooperation with former Silk Road nations by moving towards northern regions, most recently adding Poland. CBNU visited cities like Varshava and Gdansk in Poland and signed an academic exchange agreement with major local universities with support from the Korean Embassy and the Korean Cultural Center in Poland. The visiting team including Yoon Myeong-sook, vice president of the International Cooperation, visited Gdansk University in northern Poland and introduced CBNU’s best agriculture science, IT, veterinary and medical fields for strengthening educational exchange cooperation. Piotr Stepnowski, the vice president of Gdansk University, proposed projects for visiting professors, student exchanges, and research project collaboration, as well as internships in top European companies through an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) partnership agreement.
